Great for commuting or touring, the main compartment and front zippered pouch are quickly accessible with the bag in the basket. Made from a waterproof, recycled ripstop fabric and water resistant zippers, the bag is overall water resistant. The interior fabric is a light color so your gear is more visible, with a divided inner pocket for small items. The bottom panel is reinforced.
The straps have a separating Velcro handle for convenient carrying and to keep them from dragging anywhere problematic when on the bike.
It clips to the basket with side release buckles to keep it secure and allow for quick installation or removal. The bag can be cinched deeper into the basket if it’s not very full so things are less likely to bounce around inside.
I usually carry tools/tube/etc. in the front zipper pouch, and a U-lock in the rear pocket. In heavier rain, strapping the lock into the basket itself when installing the bag (last photo) will allow the flap on the rear pocket to cover the pocket and prevent water ingress.
These are made to order with the colors available in the swatches (from left to right): Teal, Lilac, Crimson, Forest green, Olive green, and Black. They can be all one color or multiple. Please note colors in order notes or an email. If I don’t currently have the colors you choose when you place an order, I can suggest others, or obtain that color (will increase total time). A note on shipping: The best price will probably result from selecting the calculated shipping. I will compress the bag slightly to get it into a box that falls under the price cutoff, after which the cost doubles. Any wrinkling from this should disappear with use.
